Making Space: Giving Voice by Design
April 28 @ 5:00pm
Making Space: Giving Voice by Design will be a conversation with the next generation of designers—teens from the AFH 3D Design Studio! Moderated by Google Real Estate Executive and AFH Board member, Marcella Barrière, we’ll dive into a range of topics, including incorporating new voices into the design process, accessibility, environmental and community impact, and creating work that resonates for the upcoming generation of users.
Artists For Humanity employs enterprising teens from Boston neighborhoods to create a powerhouse of art and design services for individuals and businesses. This pioneering business model practiced across our six creative studios offers broad and innovative responses to meet our clients’ needs, while transforming teens’ worldview—and their place in it.
Artists For Humanity provides under-resourced teens the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in art and design. Bridging economic, racial, and social divisions, AFH enriches urban communities by introducing young people's creativity to the business community.
