Artists For Humanity's Open Studios
March 25 @ 5:00pm - 7:00pm
100 West Second Street, Boston, MA 02127
A special kind of alchemy! Join us for our special Boston Design Week edition of AFH Open Studios. Artists For Humanity opens the doors to its unique Youth Arts Enterprise, currently employing and mentoring over 325 under-resourced Boston teens annually to deliver art and design solution for clients! Tour the AFH EpiCenter, home to six amazing studios producing the largest collection of youth created fine art and design in Boston, and perhaps the nation! Mingle with teen artists and designers and their professional mentors, exchange ideas, network, and enjoy refreshments in one of Boston's coolest settings.
Artists For Humanity provides under-resourced teens the keys to self-sufficiency
through paid employment in art and design. AFH is built on the philosophy that
engagement in the creative process is a powerful force for social change, and that creative entrepreneurship is a productive and life-changing opportunity for young people. Bridging economic, racial, and social divisions, AFH enriches urban communities by introducing young people’s creativity to the business community. We hope to see you there!
This event is free and open to all. Parking is available at the Channel Street Garage (116 W First Street) adjacent to the EpiCenter, for only $8, after 5:00pm.
