Sustainable Luxury

March 27 @ 5:00pm - 8:00pm

1317 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02118

Timeless design, exceptional materials + craftsmanship, heirloom quality, the concept that a single item of perfection is ‘so much more than many’ – it’s what defines luxury – and inherently makes the design sustainable.  Artefact hosts a panel with friends Tom Verellen of Verellen Furniture, Greg Lombardi of Gregory Lombardi Design, and John Day of LDa Architects as they discuss “sustainable luxury” in their design work.  Moderator Colleen Barry, CEO of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty will keep the conversation flowing and lively.   Join us at 5pm for a little ‘liquid luxury’!  Presented in partnership with Boston Design Guide.

Opening March 2019 in Boston’s South End, 1317 Washington St. ARTEFACT’s second location.  While maintaining the same distinctive aesthetic as the Belmont shop – the focus will be the Verellen Salon (Verellen is the ultimate in upholstered furniture ) and the rugs, case goods, textiles and decorative accessories Maureen + Sue have artfully selected.

Artefact Home|Garden in Belmont is located in a 1930’s Dodge dealership showroom. The shop is  light + airy– similar to a place you would find in San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam or perhaps Paris (at least that’s what our customers say)…Artefact Belmont offers a thoughtful collection of furniture, tabletop + decorative accessories, garden containers + ornamentation and a small collection of personal accessories (and ample free parking).

Both locations are open to retail + trade customers.
