4-6PM - Open House - Come and meet startups at the Asylum and Fab@CIC. Learn how these two makerspaces contribute to local economic impact through creativity, ingenuity, persistence and collaboration.


6-7PM - Social Hour - Light refreshments and networking.


7-9PM - Panel Discussion - Four startups that are building their products within makerspaces will discuss ways their work is enhanced and inhibited by working in a shared, open, collaborative environment. Get a ringside look at ways makerspaces like Fab@CIC and Artisan’s Asylum contribute to local economic impact and explore ways that impact can be expanded in the future.

The moderated discussion will shed light on the opportunities and challenges of launching new ventures within an environment of open innovation, community collaboration, and shared infrastructure.
