Matterport has become the standard method of capturing 360 spaces for real estate sales and rentals but is seldom used in architecture and design. TSP Smart Spaces will show how they use this tool to capture job sites before, during, and after the many phases of the construction process. This includes wire labeling, technology, and other items which otherwise would be hidden behind walls forever.
With VR headsets like the Oculus Quest 2 continuing to come down in price, they’ll demonstrate how to use tools like Matterport with VR to transport partners and clients to spaces and virtual walkthroughs so they can make essential decisions without having to be there.
Finally, TSP Smart Spaces will demonstrate Epic's TwinMotion. TwinMotion is a video-game-inspired “real-time rendering” engine that architects and designers can use to render spaces faster and create interactivity and environmental context that is sorely missing from traditional rendering workflows.
