WeWork Boston:

Design Takes on Cancer

April 4 @ 6:00pm - 8:00pm

200 Portland Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02114

No one wants to think about cancer.  But it has a large impact on society and a profound impact on individuals and families. About 1.7 M people are diagnosed with it each year in the US.  The majority will survive. This session intends to catalyze design innovation that responds to the physical and sensory onslaught of those in treatment and in recovery.  Success would deliver improved quality of life and an invaluable restoration of confidence.

WeWork provides more than 400,000 members around the world with space, community, and services through both physical and virtual offerings. WeWork's mission is to help create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living. Founded in New York City in 2010 by Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey, WeWork currently has more than 425 physical locations in over 100 cities and 27 countries around the world. Follow us @WeWork on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook or visit www.wework.com to learn more.

Produced in partnership with the Institute for Human Centered design, an international education and design non-profit dedicated to enhancing the experiences of people of all ages, abilities and cultures through excellence in design.
