Shepley Bulfinch at 150 and Beyond

The exhibit celebrates 150 years of Shepley Bulfinch and traces the evolution of the firm that is Shepley Bulfinch today, starting with its 1874 formation in Brookline, Massachusetts by Henry Hobson Richardson. From his foundation of the eponymous Romanesque style to the architects he helped shape through his practice, the legacy of Shepley Bulfinch ripples around the world through the buildings and spaces that touch our everyday lives.

 

The gallery exhibit also contains access to an anniversary-themed AdventureLab©, a self-guided walking tour that brings participants to Shepley Bulfinch-designed sites across Boston through an app by the makers of GeoCaching©   Read more...

This unique event celebrates the start of Boston Design Week with an element of Italian Design. Prestigious Italian brands and Made-in-Italy products will be on exhibit. Honorary Guests Arnaldo Minuti, the Consul General of Italy in Boston, and Tony Fusco, the Co-Producer of Boston Design Week will speak on behalf of Boston's widespread design community and highlight the contributions made by Italian designers. In addition to design companies, architects, interior designers, general contractors, developers, and design students, the event is open to the general public.
